The 07-08 committee updated three papers combining them into one reference guide which was adopted in Spring 2008. The committee recommends that the next paper should be The Curriculum Committee: Role, Structure, Duties, and Standards of Good Practice (ASCCC, 1996) The committee further recommends a new resolution for the development of a broader, big-picture paper about the planning and development of curriculum and programs in California's community colleges as in those issues being addressed at the 09 Curriculum Institute and an additional new resolution specifically directing a rewrite of the three key outdated papers on prerequisites including; Establishing Prerequisites Fall 1992, Recommendations Model District Policy for Prerequisites, Corequisites, Advisories on Recommended Preparation, and Other Limitations on Enrollment Fall 1993, Good Practices for the Implementation of Prerequisites Spring 1997 which would incorporate the current prerequisite issues and discussions as well as the current information and data available concerning student success in basic skills.
Status Report:

Of the two papers named in the resolution, the one on prerequisites has been updated. Distance Learning updates published in many forms, including paper, since the resolution was passed.
